And what warning? I'm in the properties and i see no warning anywhere. If that also doesn't fix it, make sure that there aren't any anti-virus programs or firewall things that are preventing Source Filmmaker from accessing the internet.Ĭan you explain for an idiot like me that has no idea what any of that means or send a video link of a guide of what you said to do? I have no idea where this by default emty box that you're talking about is. Select Account details from the dropdown menu. If this doesn't fix it, try waiting a few hours before trying again. Here’s what you need to do: Click on your account name in the upper right corner of the Steam client or webpage. You can also use the computer client to perform these steps. If you are already logged in, you don't have to worry about that step, but you can use any web browser to unsubscribe from addons. Now, navigate to the installation folder of the game causing the error using the following address bar: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Name\Workshop. Part 1 Unsubscribing from the Addon Download Article 1 Go to the Steam website at and log in. Here, enable the ‘Hidden Items’ option before you proceed. If making sure that "-nosteam" isn't there isn't enough to make Source Filmmaker download stuff from its Steam workshop, right-click Source Filmmaker in your Steam library, choose "Properties", switch to the "Betas" tab, make sure that the drop-down beta selection list is set to "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs", switch to the "Local Files" tab, click "Verify Integrity of Application Files.", wait for it to finish (which is when it says how many files will be reacquired, not when it says 100%), and allow Steam to download any files that it wants to for Source Filmmaker. Open ‘This PC’ and in the toolbar of the folder, move from ‘File’ to ‘View’ mode. All you have to do is just to make sure that "-nosteam" is not there. The by-default-empty box below the "warning" is/are the launch options. It's just telling you that if you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't mess with it. So for some reason the game just doesn't see 380,000 mods but they are downloading into the folder and the dates suggest they are updating.Originally posted by Purple Kerble:When I go to "set launch options" It says "these options are only available for advanced users only" How do I become an advanced user?Ignore it. I see in folder 699142028 the following three files metadata (MOD file type 200 KB), script.cs (CS file type 54.9 KB), and thumb (PNG file type 405 KB) Can anyone verify these are correct and complete? I went into the URL of the browser workshop and got the Id number of "Isy's Solar Alignment" which is 699142028, I then went into the folder where mods are kept, and found the folder with the same number, the dates on the mods are as of yesterday so they appear to download. I do not see Cargo Bars, Solar Alignment, Ship Refuel, etc One of the mods I want to use is "Isy's Solar Alignment", if i search in game I only see 6 of his solar panel power booster scripts and all are deprecated. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, verified local files, double checked that I am in experimental mode and that I have in game scripts checked. Is there any way I can force steam to download my workshop mods or do I have to wait it out I am using the latest IWBUMS version, and have restarted the game multiple times. So for some reason my game is not seeing around 385,000 of the items in the workshop. Workshop mods not being downloaded I decided to grab some mods on the workshop to play today, but 5 hours later the mods havent been downloaded. I found some mods in game and instead of subscribing in game I went to the workshop via browser and subscribed and these also will work in game. However, when I search and subscribe to mods via the browser workshop I see 409,521 mods available, and when I subscribe to them I cannot use them in game. All of these mods I can subscribe to and they instantly download and work in game. This lead me to search through the in game workshop for the mods I used to use and I was unable to find them.Īfter Some testing I have figured out a few things Some mods, 2488 pages worth with 9 items per page for a total of 22,392, show up via the in game workshop. However, I noticed that only one of them was showing in game. Workshop folder should be : Steam/steam apps/common/l4d2/l4d2/Addons/workshop Unless you know what file is corrupted, just delete all of the files in the folder. Find the workshop folder and delete it’s contents then verify the game files. Upon coming back I was still subscribed to a few mods around 8. You might have a corrupted workshop file. I took a break from Space Engineers for about 1 year.
